FAQ

The American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS) is the plastic surgery board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS), which has approved medical specialty boards since 1934. Plastic surgeons must meet rigorous requirements before certification by the American Board of Plastic Surgery (ABPS), including graduation from an accredited medical school, successful completion of residency training in plastic surgery, and must pass comprehensive written and oral examinations.
